About the Project

Achievements

To date, the Computer Technologies for Schools project has delivered over 180 thousand pieces of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment worth millions of dollars from Australian Government agencies and other donors to schools throughout Australia.

The private sector including State and Local Government organisations have generously donated a large quantity of ICT equipment.

Virtually all the PCs currently donated to the project contain Pentium-4 processors or better allowing teachers and students to utilise a wide variety of e-learning tools.
