Schools Receiving Equipment
Many Australian schools have received equipment provided through the Computer Technologies for Schools (CTFS) project.
State, Catholic and independent schools have all benefited from the CTFS project and the project has received a number of letters of thanks from teachers:

The technology supplied enhanced the whole school's programs. Prior to finding out about this project St Patrick's had no computers for student use and only one for staff use, used primarily by the assistant Principal.
With our parent body fundraising madly to purchase a small bank of networked computers, and the Catholic schools office helping with the cabling and fileserver, we were still many months away from implementing a technology enhanced curricula for our students and providing staff development and training in computer use.
We also estimated another 3-5 years until older computers would be available to put into the classrooms in addition to a newer bank.
The project has assisted us in achieving goals which put our ICT implementation plan many years ahead in terms of hardware. And we have begun training staff in computer use and using computers to enhance and support the curriculum; and students to hopefully achieve some positive outcomes and goals.
The looks on their faces as they watched us carry computers to every classroom was priceless... each child checked several times that their room would not be missing out.
We are thrilled and very happy with our new hardware and thank all concerned for their work in making this project happen.
